Loose Foundation(s) Can't Stand
1 September, 2011
Author: Meridian Zuriel
Because you're not solid
You and your foundation will crumble
You're not strong enough to withstand
the strong winds and heavy rains
You're just there, inhabiting
And destruction is inevitable
Unless you reconstruct your house
You have little support
Unless you branch out and take a stand
You'll always be inside your head
On mute
Mouth moving
But nothing coming out
- Nothing within earshot (anyway)
You'll be swept away by the tide
Unless you prove that you are
Not a coward
But a champion who will fight for
and exercise his or her right
You will remain the same into your
old age til your dying day.
