Anxiety Attack
4 September, 2011
Author: Meridian Zuriel
Hit the wall
Throw things around
Yell like a fool
Cuz you feel
Low to the ground
Don’t care if
Everyone in town
Knows that you’re
Enraged and down
Asylum is waiting
Check yourself in
You’re long overdue
You’ve been through this
Time and time again
Punching the pillow
Folks made you mad
You’re quick to anger
Can’t lash out at folks
Can’t say what’s
On your mind
So you move like
You’re blind
Eyes closed
Tears streaming down
Banging the floor
Making growling sounds
Don’t know how to
Conquer or win
So you decide to
Give in
But you’re unhealthy
And you’re ill
Open that windowsill
And take a breath
Of fresh air
Everyone around you
Feels despair
Stop pulling
At your hair
You’re in your right mind
Just learn how to
Handle your issues better
Take the bad with the good
Like someone with sense
Tolerate with normalcy
Look at me
Don’t act crazy
You’re not crazy
Forsake that talk of
Idiocy
You’re bright and you’re smart
It’s about time you start
Getting well
Handle things the healthy way
No matter what
Obstacles you face each day
Hear what I say
Resolutions come about
When you
Perpetually pray
