Moon Watcher
18 September, 2011
Author: Pondering Red
this time period
between moonrise,
closer to moonset,
i awaken,
heart beating rapidly from
dream sequences,
rereading your words,
and
visualizing the memory
of moonglow
cast upon my street
upon my strands of hair
entangled with the outline of
city trees
and wondering about you,
moonwatcher,
standing somewhere
where i've never been,
under the same lustrous veil
did you feel the radiance,
the warmth emanating from the skies ?
it flowed
and entered my rooms
stayed with me
lingered
lulled me into a deep sleep
of a dream
of a man
who touched
the moon
i was watching...
