Blind

I could give you all I have
But it still won't be enough
For you to understand my love
I could whisper words of for ever in your ear
But you'd still never notice me here
And I'm letting the blind
Lead my weakened heart
Down a road that begs for pain
I must be insane
To think you'd love me
No, you never loved me
I gave you all I had
It wasn't much but it was yours
What was I fighting for
You never gave me the chance to conform to how I felt
I let my heart melt
You were in every breath of me
Everything I thought I'd need
You were the reason for each day
I loved you more than I could say
And I let the blind
Lead my weakened heart
Down a road that begged for pain
I must have been insane
To think you'd love me
No, you never loved me
If only you had seen
How much you meant to me...
