Mosquito

Biting my skin
I feel nothing
Flying around my head
I wave you away
Not even realizing
You’ve already
Gnawed at my flesh
Hungry for another
Bite
Not until I get home
Do I have a strong
Urge to scratch
When I look down
And see the many times
I’ve served you
