Please
Let's calm down
Squash the pain
The disagreement
The argument
Wanna sleep well
Without my conscience
Whipping me all night

I'm sorry. Forgive me. I love you.

(pause)

Good night.

Yup , ya got that right on the Mark,Miss Meri.... Terry always adds that in as part of our prayer time that all should amend the end of a day with The spark of joy, Thankfulness and Forgiveness.. No One should ever have to Go to bed angry,
we never kno' the consequences of life's surprises..life is full of 'em..

Blessings! DearHeart...

So true

My granny used to say 'never go to bed without saying sorry' Wise words. I like your line 'suash the pain' - nicely put!

Thanks Cap

Yes. I'd rather do the right thing. If I don't, I won't be able to sleep.
