A Good Day
11 November, 2011
Author: Meridian Zuriel
Clouds rolled by
In that blue sky
As I passed by
Forehead wasn't creased
Frown had ceased
Smile grew
Into a grin of thirty-twos
A good day
A day of peace
Tranquility
I'd love to see
Happen to me
All the time
Everyday
Bent on my knees
To pray
For such a day
Doing all I can
What I know
All it takes
Positively
To be free
To not give into
The enemy
But how I fight
To metamorphose
Change don't happen overnight
Unfortunately
Its process can be fast
Or slow
Depending on me
But what I wouldn't give
To see
Everyday like
The day
I speak of
In my poetry
In my hymns
In my song
To encounter
Love, peace and joy
All day long
When nothing
Goes wrong
