Mistakes
1 December, 2002
Author: April Erwin
As I walk down the path of life
And realize the choices I have made
Some wrong some right
But the biggest mistake I have ever made
Is letting you go
I wish I could go back
And ask you to stay
You have moved on
And yet I can not
You are the only thing that I want
Yet the only thing I can't have
I miss your touch
I miss your smile
But we learn from our mistakes
If I ever have another chance for love
Next time, I won't let him slip away
If I could have one wish, it'd be to be with you
The way you make me feel,
I never thought it could be for real
You always had that way, to make me smile all day
You are the only thing I want but the only thing I can't have
