Silent Tears
18 January, 2012
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Giving my all to everyone but me
I surrender to the silent tears
Inferior in so many ways
But you only see the strength
I wear down till I cannot leave the covers
Holding my head under to the comfort
The warmth that surrounds only me
You think I have a headache
I mask my anger as I give more
A pressure cooker in high gear
I need to do this, I need to do that
Who cares to do for me
I'm tired and rebel going on strike
No one even notices, no one asks why
No one sees my silent tears
No one but I ...
