An Angel's Wing
20 January, 2012
Author: Brenda Maple
When I am sad, and missing those
Who have been called above,
The shadow of an angel's wing
Will fill my heart with love.
Those precious, half-forgotten words
We said so long ago,
The flutter of an angel's wing
Reminds me of them so.
A loving face, a moment spent
With friends both dear and true,
A fleeting glimpse of angel's wing
Brings them to me anew.
And when I think that I have lost
The ones I loved so much,
A feather from an angel's wing
Recalls their gentle touch.
