Well, Here It Is....

Okay.
It's tomorrow now,
so it's official.
It's the 65th anniversary of my birth.
I never really thought that I would make it to 60,
let alone 65.
Didn't think I would see 65.
Well, here it is.
I wonder what it all means....
It should mean something, right?
I should be able to look at 65 years of life
and see different things,
important things,
that are meaningful to me,
that I've had a part in,
that I've accomplished.
I mean, 65 years....
that's a lot of time.
A lot of folks don't get that much time.
So I really should have done something
with all that time.
At least that's the way I think it should have been.
Other than the average, normal (whateverthehell that is)
day-to-day things that everyone gets to do...
I should be able to say something like,
"This is this thing - I did that."
And it should be something great
and important
and very meaningful,
not only to me, or my family,
but to others, as well.
I think that folks should be able to look at me,
at the time I've spent here,
and say something like,
"Well, he did this,"
or, "He did that."
Well, here it is....
and here is what I've done:

65 and a life

Just a thought? I never saw my nephew, born & gone in 6 days. I wonder if he would of reached 65? Had a life & a son? I'm happy you got to see 65 Shiloh. Happy birth on your day.
