As you talk to me
Guitar, Recorder and Bell E.P
Take me to a place
I ain’t never been
Ain’t never seen
Want to feel it
As you drive me through your chords
Resonating from the keyboard
Gimme an encore
So I can soar
Like a dove
I let the waterfalls pour
From above
Cooling my fire
Distinguishing my flame
Til no embers
Are mine to claim
Keep humming for me
Sing a song of serenity
Make me smile for days
Journeying me to rainbows
Oceans and sunrays
Journeying me to birds
In the trees
Tweeting such lovely melodies
How I love to hear you play
Running like a kid
With no chaperone
But not really wanting to be left alone
And I know I can’t be
Because in the background
I can still hear you playing for me
Causing me to float
Like a hot air balloon
Not wanting to come back to Earth
Anytime soon
Enjoying the ride
Riding the tide
Wishing to live, love and reside
Here
In such a beautiful atmosphere
Beauty like I’ve never known
Fantasy is real
I can feel
The keys pour like lava
Into my frozen heart
Forcing the lock to part
From the gated door
Having enough power
To reach the core
