Knocking Heaven's Door

Author: Newage Caveman
People have dreamt of a place called Heaven
A place, which stood the test of time
Souls that reach its doorstep
Never return to narrate the path divine
The best way to die
Is not to know you are dying
And, this is only possible in your sleep
In your sleep, when you are dreaming
Dreams have a way of conveying
A message that travels time
There is another world beyond our awakening
A place, which is very sublime
Places are revealed in our dreams
Places never seen before
An experience that defies reason
Where logic stands no chance afore
To die in their dreams
Might be a wish for many
To die without any suffering
To feel no pain and agony
Slipping into a dream in a deathbed
Might send a man to the heaven's door
But, death is not a wish that's granted
Its a desire that God will unfold
I would like to knock the Heaven's door
And see God in my sleep
Dreams manifest in strange ways
But, there are miles to go before I sleep..
