Not All Great
6 August, 2012
Author: Jughead
It's not all peaches & sunshine.
Never have & never will.
It's filled with false hopes, heartbreaks
& the occasional tears when it gets too difficult to carry on.
It's not like in the movies where they kiss & make up,
it's not like the dramas where its love at first sight.
It's not like the novels that depicts love to be how magnificent
or how worthy it is to sacrifice everything & anything just to have its embrace.
You do move on. eventually.
You do realize that it isn't all rainbows & butterflies & everything nice.
You do come to an epiphany that only the lucky few
or the majorly of characters in novels & movies & tales people spin
that enjoys the elusive greatness of true, unselfish love.
For nobody actually puts you before themselves
or at least some do, but the probability is probably not in your favor.
If you have it, i guess you would be the happiest
or rather the most fortunate being anyone can actually hope to be
because no matter what happens, you have a certain someone to fallback on
& know that he or she would be there with open arms ready to catch you at a whim.
Now that i guess is the greatest kind of love anyone could possibly wish for.
