Change is rising, slowly rising
But I know it's on it's way
Can't I run to it, take charge
Start things fresh today
I'm in such a hurry
But I'm going nowhere fast
Life is full of many things
That aren't meant to last
Tough decisions, muffled choices
Anxiously awaiting time
Shutting down and closing in
Until I can live my life
