Moonlite

moonlite
the gray dismal void is the path I have chosen.
yet how I yearn for that feeling once more.
how I wish for your kiss, your touch, and your love.
I miss the high I was in from just knowing that I loved you
and u loved me as well.
so I sit beneath a long since dead tree and gaze at the gray sky.
the darkened sky, like me, is holding back its tears.
I stare out and dream of you
i dream of what we had,
what we could have had.
and the gray sky darkens to nite.
and it turns on its lights
as I am staring out at the moon
I know you are looking at the same sky,
the same stars, the same moon as i.
and with this my un-requinted love for you grows
