Love's Court
3 October, 2012
Author: Thia
Guilty or innocent? It’s hard to know which you are,
your past actions have discredited you.
I remain silent.
Do I take in account the evidence of what is?
Or should I believe you to be a repeat offender?
I remain silent.
Allegations, questions, evidence, doubts, judgments.
This time you’ve taken it to a grandeur scale.
I remain silent.
Cross examination; my objections manifested by my uncontrollable anger
and self destruction; emotionally sequestered.
I remain silent.
Deliberations.
Will my soul be set free to trust again?
I remain silent.
The verdict is in; acquitted.
I remain silent.
My heart left to appeal,
and my soul shackled only to return back to the holding cell which is my love.
I remain silent, eternal.
