Lost Trust
25 November, 2012
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Promises made in times of passion
Hearts joined too easy to part
Once there was us against the world
Today we look never looking into each other
Today we hug with feelings of tears inside
He once looked so trustful in her eyes
She once could fool him by holding his hand
Tears of pearls run down the road before
Raw emotions flying from room to room
A hurt easy to say never can be return once spoken
A piece now rocked never to survive
Both right yet wishing the other would run back
Never to forgive always to hurt
Loving each other with a passion now hidden
Eyes that meet holding a love from behind a wall
Only in secret their love brings pain as they both deny
