Through your love I rode the storm,
Through your eyes a clearing was set
Through our friendship came love and laughter,
With my eyes now open you were never there,
With my eyes I saw you never when I needed you most,
With a touch you were no longer there,
Quiet each moment to hear tears roll,
Quiet times my heart called yours
Quiet together where did you go?
Each moment you promised yet it never appeared
Each time you smiled did you want me to go?
Each hug we gave did you plot my end?
A love never know before or since
A love I craved yet you could not surrender,
My love needed yours till the end,
I’ll love you still if just from afar
Our love needs love each moment of the day
