Balance

Author: Jeanne Fiedler
Do you know red
when you see it?
Do you know blue?
Can you tell black
from white,
up from down,
high from low?
Life is filled with
paradoxes...
the straight and narrow
from the wayward and
troubled...the stable
and sane from the
mentally ill...
Can you find
balance in the
extremes?
Do you know
depression
from anger?
Anxiety from
fear?
Do you know
truth from lies?
If you don't,
you don't
understand
anything - all
rests on this...
Our individual
perceptions are
not right,
to know truth
is to know life...
Tune in to
things around
you...focus...
Can you sense
what is?
What is really
there?
Love from hate,
life from death
war from peace...
Be alert
not fuzzy
notice the
light...
Don't live in
darkness...
------- Author's Notes -------
In this world, you have to be alert and clear thinking. You have to see what is really going on. |
