Here To Stay
5 December, 2012
Author: Meridian Zuriel
The same chicks with the attitudes
Laughing, judging and being rude
Can't laugh today
Can't think of nothing good to say
Wouldn't matter anyway
Cause I'm here to stay
Anyway,
Karma made half of them pay
They're listening to my song
About how I proved them wrong
I heard them call me weak
But I wouldn't have lasted this long
If I wasn't strong
I surged ahead
Much different than what they said
None of 'em can stand me
Because I pass them by
Made all of their words
Into a lie
If you ain't got nothing good to say
Then say nothing at all
And keep it that way
Even as we speak
They're still the same
Same demeanor, same attitude
Still out to defame
And cause me shame
Trying to ruin my name
But that's OK
Because I'm here to stay
