The End Of The World

Today is December 21st, 2012. "The End of the World."
As I sit on my chair in the garage, and stare at the sky.
It's now 4:30 p.m. as I drink my 4th cup of coffee.
I got to thinking? What would I do different,
if this was to be my last day on Earth?
I didn't have to work today, so I slept in till 9:30 a.m.
Hmmm? The world didn't end yet? So I slept another hour,
because I could. The wife had to do girl things today
with her friend. Like go look at cup cakes down town?
OK? The weather was freezing outside, because the bird bath
was frozen over solid, outside the bedroom window.
That's how I know it's below 32 degrees. It's cold as Hell!
Is Hell cold?
OK! Let's get going I said, and got dressed
with 3 layers of clothes, ski cap, and a hoody.
Then went to work with a rake and a blower.
Spent 4 hours doing that, and now taking a break at 4:30 p.m.
Tired now, and watching the sunset over my truck
and drinking now, my 5th cup of coffee, thinking?
What would I do different, if this was the last day on Earth?
Absolutely nothing, and go and have my 6th cup of coffee.
