Winter Ballet
30 December, 2012
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Though the sun's not shining
The snow is bright
The dogs running and roll and bray
It's such a pretty day
Snowball throwing and kids at play
The air is chilling
The breeze blows cold
Bare tree branches; they swing and sway
Though the sky above is grey
The good times are not far away
A quickly walking child
Behind him a sled slides
"Watch out, get out of the way!"
A car swooshes by and sprays
The wet snow covering him to his dismay
A colorful cardinal
On a branch he sits
What an elegant display
A beautiful picture it all conveys
Oh, what a wonderful winter ballet..
