Dreams Future And Past

I have dreamed of a future much brighter than the past
A time when Disney fairy tales come true
I had never thought that those fairy tales weren't real
Or that reality could be an adventure too

Over the years I have found my future one day at a time
Each day with surprises around every corner
Some days, they were exciting and other torment
Some were cold and some were warmer

Looking back I dream of a past that was
Not would of or could of, but of all the trials
I lived little fairy tales I never even realized
Remembering the adventures; wryly I smile.
