Happy Was The Nightmare

I didn't see the teardrop fall
as it was squeezed from her eyes
i didn't hear what the rain said
as it said it's good-byes.
i didn't feel the cold wind blow
i didn't feel the weight of her stare
the dream turned tragic
happy was the nightmare.
