How Come?
16 April, 2013
Author: Thia
How come you won’t let me fly?
Spread my wings and glide through the great big blue skies
I’d like to think I’d be a beauty that high
How come you won’t let me be?
And wander about the forest free
I think you’d see I’m wise like the old oak trees
Or maybe you’d see how sad you make me
The weeping willow I’d be
How come you ask to know my every move?
I tell you, because I have something to prove
That my love for you is true, through and through
No matter what you won’t let me do
