Pure Spring
26 April, 2003
Author: Elizabetta
The emotions that flow out of my heart,
at the mention of your name or
a touch of your gentle hand
are yet untempered by any pang
of fear, though maybe they should be.
They flow freely from a spring that
originates in the deepest basin of
my soul in a hidden layer, untouched, till yours, since the days it was
caressed by an innocent love of lilies
and butterflies and life
As this current flows
I am a child again,
not sticking my foot in the stream
but diving in.
