Master Must I?
28 July, 2013
Author: Senko
Heavy on my neck,
This collar weighs,
When I feel not enough,
It happens some days
Not from your tone,
Or calm demeanor,
But from my own insecurities,
Letting my doubts nearer
I thought I could share,
With a smile on my lips,
Her then me,
Eagerly waiting for my kiss
Perhaps it's a sign of weakness,
This stirring of envy,
I have no right,
But my mind and heart disagree
"What makes my service,
Any less than hers?"
"She's known him longer!
It's what she deserves!"
"Barreling into this relationship,
wanting to please.
Recoiling from sharing,
Though you originally agreed!'
Sense and nonsense wrestle,
From sleep to waking dreams
It all doesn't matter,
He already means too much to me
So I will curl up at his side
With a smile and nod,
Push my doubts down,
And carry on my facade.

mental (66.153.200.41) -- Thursday, August 22 2013, 02:43 am sounds like you are in deep. but from his point of view he is probably enjoying this little play. stand up for yourself and ask who does he really want. and if he cares and loves you then it should be you if not then the other deserves him. only you know if you make the right choice. good poem and insightful thank you |
