Anthem Of Loneliness
30 April, 2003
Author: Elizabetta
Afraid to sing,
bad voice, tone deaf even
but from within comes
a stubborn song
a quasi-harmonious explosion
of words seemingly lewd
come pouring out
like a foutain in the desert
the words trickle in to
the hollow air
they echo and hang
float free
but then die
without finding an ear.
