And There You Were
2 December, 2013
Author: Christanie Cameron
As i fall
Spiraling ever deeper
Into the dark
No one there
To help me up
No one who
Really cares
Hopeless, but not helpless
Always surrounded
By the fake
doing everything
To keep me down
Loss so great
Tears forever
At the surface
Direction all lost
Once a wolf
Now a sheep
Nowhere to go
No one to ask
For help
Im all alone
I cant lay down
I cant give up
I wont give up
The will to survive
Too strong
I must be strong
I have to be strong
Everywhere i turn
darkness and fear
Surrounded by
evil, dark, lustful souls
Never left alone
Yet i feel so lonely
Darkness everywhere
Men everywhere
Lined up just for
A small chance
To be my man
Each one making
Promises never ment
To be kept
They just cant
Approach me the way
A man is supposed to
Then like a single
Ray of the purest
And truest sunshine
There you appeared
Like my own
Knight in shining armor
You were the
Only man that
Stirs my pickey heart
Finally
I feel happy
And the darkness
Has started to
Lift away from
My once broken heart
