If Earth Were To Speak?
25 December, 2013
Author: Newage Caveman
Oh, my sweet child of my soil
Let no tears fall from your eyes
I am here to bear your agony
I am here to hear your cries
If you think there is someone in this world
Who can wipe your distress and your past
You can count on me, your mother
I know your sufferings won’t last
It pains when I see my children
Those who kill their own race
Treading the path of wickedness and evil
Losing the sight of light and the lane of grace
It’s a curse that was cast on my soul
By an evil eye from ages before
A spell that would see my sons suffer
In bloody fights and battles of gore
I have spent sleepless nights in silence
Thinking of how to break this spell
My being aches from the pain of this burden
A burden that I am carrying through this living hell
This living hell is the injustice
That my child carries through her journey
Failing to see the spirit in her being
Will send you to the darkest parts of misery
My tears are covered with blood
The blood of the child who grieves
She grieves for the life that she lost in valor
She yearns to seek revenge for your deed
If you take pride in calling me your mother
If you take pride in breathing my life
Live a journey filled with care and respect
Know that a life of sin seeks to cause strife
I am holding this spell since ages
Since a time known for love and peace
But, now, I have to simply surrender
For the world I once knew is falling apiece
I have a few years left on this land
With my appeal to heal those bodies anew
Humanity, at large has simply forgotten
My message that will melt like the morning dew
Souls who learn to respect
Respect my children of yore
Those angels will heal my heart
Their lives will be filled with joy and more...
