Yellow Maiden
30 January, 2014
Author: Jeanne Fiedler
I am here
in my mother's house
wondering and wayward
trying to understand
what is really real
and what is fantasty
There's beauty - real
beauty in all this stuff
what you laugh off
can really heal and
dissipate pain
I have one wish, though
that it may be a story
of enchantment
I float and row my vessel
in the sunlit sea
to my castle, Spanish castle
I dine on love, peace and joy
and contribute much to the
world - almost like a slave -
but really more like a
royal princess
What difference does
it really make?
We all lose our egos
in order to live out
our lives with
lessons of love...
------- Author's Notes -------
