The Mountain Dream
4 February, 2014
Author: Newage Caveman
Dozing off in a distant dream
Reality fades as it only seems
Racing towards a bright imagination
Breaking away from the noisy scenes
Life is locked in a chaotic circle
Smiles robbed, and sadness sobbed
Melodies rained a visual future
Tears drained, madness mellowed
Stopping by and letting the world go by
Thicket fence that life engulfs
Letting time tick and not stopping by
In ravenous desires, and passions indulge
Spin as we may in this whirlwind tour
Trotting the globe with mad fervor
In search of the ‘pot of gold’
Will rain coins from the clouds of the river
The river of songs sings an endless ballet
Ballet that touches our deepest souls
Music is a way of life of a mountaineer
Whose house dwells on the snow filled cold
Snowy mountains and dew soaked grasses
Mellifluous tunes that fill the air
The wind blows an eternal calm
Telling us we truly belong here..
