The Proposal
31 March, 2014
Author: Shan
Lacey will you marry me?
Sometime, someway, somehow
I'm on one knee,
I'm asking please,
Just take me, here and now
It's you and I
Living on this ground
Together till we meet the sky
Within our love be found
Let the air just carry me
Across a world of crowd
Way beyond this carried dream
I'm asking you right now
Lacey will you marry me?
And not just for today this time
I say, my Lace, our way can be
Forever yours, and yours be mine
I'll always keep you safe with me
I'm complete when we're combined
Forever will you stay with me
In more than just this rhyme
I'm asking with sincerity
Lacey will you marry me
Somehow someway sometime
It's all very clear to me
I'll be your wife, you'll be mine
Lace, will you
So Lacey will you
Please Lacey...
