When have you held on to anything
Look back and ask
When you're good and through
Are you missing something from the past
Did it hold just as tight to you
What's the right to do
So lost in nights so blue
Don't know what to do
Holding hope it all will pass
The eyes review
The skies are new
Today they opened up for you
And when you're through
Look back and ask
If when it opened up
It opened just to you
What's the right to do
I've listened, I've forgotten too
