We're All In This Together
23 October, 2014
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
We're all one together
Not separate, not alone
Different thoughts
Different beliefs
But we all live,
Love & mourn
All people love
All people hate
All people feel pain
All people live a life
It wasn't our parents
It wasn't our friends
We are who we chose to be
A self made prison
Or free
So many differences
Yet down deep the same
We can all achieve
We can all cry foul
But we are still, all people
Not gay or straight
Not color, not plight
We choose who we want to be
Standing on our own choice
Do not separate us
Nor segregate us
We're all in this together
We're all in this to win
We're all one together
Not separate, not alone
Different thoughts
Different beliefs
But we all live,
love, & mourn
