Letting you go
Just needed you to know I'm finally letting you go

It took awhile to get here, but here I am at last.
Letting go of everything, the us that was now past.
It wasn't easy by any means, actually it was hard as hell.
I don't know where it all ended, it's kinda hard to tell.
20 years now came and gone and seem to have just slipped us by.
Wondering why as I sit here why neither of us really tried.
It's sad to think it's over, a empty place remains in my heart.
Very sad to lose a lifetime friend, cherished memories you'll always be a part.
I hope your life will be filled with nothing but love and happiness.
You my friend will be someone I will always miss.
Let us both remember the good times shared and not the bad.
Let us both remember the wonderful friendship we once had.
