But I perceive it uncoated

I'm as green as can be
This ain't sugar coated
I've got all that I'll need
It's right here and noted
Grown straight from the seed
How long till you notice
Your apple fell far from the tree

I may not comment on every poem I read, but yours is among those I read often. Sounds like a money hungry person in the immediate family? Did I interpret wrong?
