Balance Restored
31 December, 2014
Author: Pondering Red
this year
yin and yang
split apart
like atomic bombs
that billowed
noxious charcoal clouds
all over the lands and seas
mountains crumbled
deserts held back tears
thunders boomed and crashed
and echoed
monstrous screams
into the outer realms
of the atmosphere
and
then into soundless deep space
where silent dreams
travel and unravel
around
future pasts -
where unborn energys
and cosmic dusts
transform into fresh
newness
i awakened
with a jolt
from surreal
dream explorations
hands still grasping
reminiscences
of cosmic calm
i quivered
brutal
negative forces
have ripped apart
the very heart of this earth
yet
when i wandered outside
on this bitterly cold day -
the last day
of this confusing year -
my cheeks became warm
my eyes delighted
in the theatrical plays
of white and dark shadows -
everywhere
branches were dancing -
a winter tango
harmony and balance -
ice on the sidewalks
and a fiery sunset
yes, i do believe,
as the new year
enters
into the different
time zones -
there will
once more
be
an
earthly calm..
