Noticing A Spring Day
11 April, 2015
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Here I sit morose, saddened
Spring blooms around me
Birds flitting about
Flowers abloom with glorious colors
Trees just edging with green
I don't understand my blueness
I watch all that mother nature has to offer
The beauty and wonder
The scents and the warmth
Everything full of new life
I tear sets place in the corner of my eye
Blessings abound
Winter's dreariness put aside
Sunshine's glows touching everything
Gentle breeze blowing to and fro
I brush away the tear
Enveloping in the day
No place for the blues
Breathe deep the warm spring air
I sigh in the wonder of it all
------- Author's Notes -------
Sometimes a blue flu day just don't make sense. Maybe it was just a poem's aching to be written. |
