The Wonder Of It All
14 June, 2015
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I bask in the wonder of it all
the trees
the lake
the stars in the sky
I could search for all the answers
but why
does it really matter
anything but the here and now
Breathing in the scents of nature
leaves crumbling
renewing life
moist beneath my feet
It takes but a moment
when all time stands still
to rejoice in what is
and to bask in the wonder of it all
------- Author's Notes -------
Sometimes it's nice to take a moment to just reflect on all that is good and taken for granted. Just walking and breathing in the nature is regenerating for the soul. |
