I'm the fire
I burn with little fluid
All night, all right
Far as the eye can see
East, west, no stopping me

Everything turns to black
Beyond recognition
Cremation. Dust. Grass.
The present becomes the past

See how the flames dance
In the heat of the night
Hot like the season summer
The Earth thirsts for cool rain

When winter came, we all complained
Every day was the same
Snow was at first beautiful
Until it remained

Now we can't take the heat
Can't suffer, can't endure
The outer man is weak
Weeping like the willow
Tears stained on the pillow

It's ugly head rears
Where is there to run?
Not enough corners of the Earth
To escape the sun

Never will there ever be enough
Mountains, Valleys and Caves
To hide people from truth
Might as well accept what's real
Learn to cope and deal
And feel
ALIVE.
