The Hollow
6 November, 2015
Author: Thia
Dare I go? No choice
Into the pit, way way down
There I go
No green pastures
Only dirt beneath me
Entering the darkness, it is unsettling
Cold and lonely
I can hear my heart pounding
Ba boom! Ba boom! Ba boom!
There is no light to guide me where I am venturing
No happiness, no joy
Just emptiness
A graveyard of dreams and hope
Further into the darkness
I am welcomed in to the abyss
Less frightening I am becoming
It is warm down here, at home
I can no longer hear my heart pounding
Seeing clearer through falsities I once thought true
Skeletons of happiness and joy
Further and further down
There is no return on an endless journey
More darkness I will find
It is peaceful amongst the shadows
I can no longer feel
Into the darkness of these catacombs
I have awakened in my chamber
Only dust surrounds me
