There's Still Fire In Me
2 January, 2016
Author: Pamela O'Brien
My light might be a little darker,
My flame might be a little blue,
But trust me when I tell you baby,
My desire still burns for you
Because not all fires are meant for beauty
Some are meant only for heat
And despite my cool disposition
There's still a little warmth in me
There's still a spark within my soul
Waiting to be reignited
It's getting dark and cold in here
Would you be a dear and light it?
Because there's still a little fire in me baby
Remember when we met?
That girl is somewhere in the embers
Theres still fire in me yet......
