I Am Blessed....

Most of us don't think about it much,
but we should.
We should take a moment
and think about what a great thing it is,
just to be alive,
to be here,
to be able to think
and know
and experience
and see
and hear
and feel....
and be thankful
that we can do all that.
I, for one,
can honestly say
that I am extremely fortunate,
and I appreciate that fact.
I am here.
A simple sentence,
but those three words
are filled with so very much meaning.
I am grateful,
I am happy,
I am fortunate,
and I am blessed.
