Missing You by Emilee

I sit here and think about you all the time,
I'm missing you and all I can do is cry.
To see you, just one more time, would make me so happy,
but with everything that's going on, I don't see how that can happen.
I'm missing you and it hurts too much to think about your face,
the laughs we shared, those memories I now try to erase.
I love you still but I just can't look back on all the smiles
you are so close, but we are separated by a million miles.
I reach out to touch your face, because it is so close to me,
but the image fades away, just like a broken memory.
I'm missing you, and everytime when I start to pray,
I ask the good Lord if He will let me see you again someday.
The way it felt to be near you was something I'll never forget,
now when I sit here, it's the lonely times that I regret.
I'm missing you and I always think,
are you also thinking, maybe missing me?
I'm missing you and it's hard to keep my feelings inside,
it's hard to focus on anything else, hard to push my emotions aside.
You told me you would never give up, never love anyone else,
but all this waiting and barely talking, are we just fooling ourselves?
I'm missing you and I can't wait until I see you again,
maybe the time apart will help my broken heart to mend.
I'm missing you and maybe soon, our paths will cross again,
but I will always think of you, until then my friend

Great one!
Especially lines 7-11! Heartbreak is terrible though!
If one of my friends gave word that they were moving, I wanted to take a picture of them! Or buy a yearbook and take a look at them! So that I could have something to smile about!

hey this poem reminds me of me and my ex he lives some wheres eles and its like 3 hours away
and we barly even talk an din a way i am still hanging on
