Telephone Booth
15 May, 2016
Author: Lamar Cole
Standing alone in a telephone booth.
Watching the cars go by.
Just me, my heart, and a clear blue sky.
Just listening to the telephone go ring, ring, ring.
To connect me to my pretty sweet thing.
Hearing the sound of her sweet voice flowing through the line.
And thanking God above that she's mine all mine.
