Another Day - Another Doodle
22 May, 2016
Author: Pondering Red
another day - another dollar -
too much normalcy -
not enough, if any, creativity and
this indeed makes daily community living
not so normal,
in respect to walking, biking, taking smooth tramways
to work or play,
being in shaded spaces with scents of lilac and
other greenery dropping temperatures to
comfortable breathing levels-
in respect to so many things that
make one sigh with happiness
upon awakening and want to jump out
into the gardens of a multitude of colours
or have choices of where to live -
so much to get undone and fixed up -
and now,
not to quibble so much -
the day began with snow, once more, and then morphed
into drizzles and vertical strings of rain
with sea gulls doing aerobatics, dipping and diving
with the joy of the rainfall and with a sense of troubles
due to the new construction work on the side of the building -
the larger picture is made up of so many
minuscule sketches and strokes of pens -
our daily doodles keep us sustained and hopefully
in a comfort zone -
a painting well done and appreciated by many,
is often out of reach,
never mind a masterpiece,
which is strived for and rarely attained -
it is like that -
like it or not -
