Always Near
19 June, 2016
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
You are here when I look at the stars
when I look at the clouds
when I watch a storm
You are here when the lightening bugs fly
when the summers get warm
when the leaves start to turn
You are here when I walk in the woods
when I sit by the creek
when I play a song
You are here when the birds sing
when the campfires glow
when the katydids chirp along
You are here when there is happiness
when I sit all alone
when a quiet smile crosses my face
This is just my way of saying
Dad you are still, and always will be..
here... in my heart
