Elena's Enchantment
8 September, 2003
Author: Eric
The lovely summer glistens her brown eyes,
The glare so bright that I cannot turn away,
I move closer and closer to beset her sparkle,
As I move the enchantment grows,
I slowly see her figure come to bay,
My heart pounds harder and harder,
The beat a deafening drum,
It's sound too much to bear,
Then before I know it,
Her lips and mine intertwine,
Then the deafening drums stop at last,
My heart is now sowed with love,
Forever planted is love to last.
